Meeting God in the True Church Established by The Root of David

How can we know if God is really in the church we attend? Is God present in every church that simply believes in Jesus? Which Church has the correct interpretation of the Bible? Since there is one God and one Bible, there should be only one church that God established. By carefully examining the teachings of the Bible, we can find the true church where God dwells and grants salvation. The World Mission Society Church of God is the church established by the Root of David and it is the only church where we can meet God for the blessing of eternal life.

Today, there are countless churches in the world. Especially Christian churches, “[e]stimations show there are more than 200 Christian denominations in the U.S. and a staggering 45,000 globally, according to the Center for the Study of Global Christianity” (livescience.com). In this situation, we must discern the true church on the basis of the Bible, rather than the number of members in a church or the influence of a particular pastor. This is the sure way we can meet the true God who blesses us with salvation.

Jesus prophesied that after His ascension to Heaven there would be many false Christs and false churches that spring up in the world through the parable of the Weeds and the Wheat (Matthew 13). Moreover, the Apostle John was given a revelation that the Bible would be completely sealed, signifying that its true meaning and interpretation would hidden from the people of the world.

Revelation 5:1-5 “Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

The One who sits on the throne in heaven is God Himself, and the only scroll given to mankind for our salvation is the Bible. In the above verse, we can see that God is holding the Bible, which is described as being “sealed with seven seals.” Apostle John wept and wept because he knew that if the Bible remained sealed forever, no one would be able to interpret the Bible correctly, and, therefore, no one could learn or practice the teachings for salvation. The prophecy explains that “no one in heaven, on earth, or under the earth could open the [Bible] or even look inside it.” Although many denominations are formed today, each with their own interpretation of the Scriptures, there is none that can unseal the true interpretation of the Bible except for the church established by the Root of David. Only when we meet the Root of David and attend the church He establishes, can we be taught the true interpretation of the Bible for our salvation. Therefore, the prophet Hosea prophesied that God’s people should seek for David in the last days.

Hosea 3:5 “Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.”

In order to receive blessings from God, we must meet David in this last age, or we will never be saved. It is imperative that we meet the Root of David, who will unseal the words of the Bible for the salvation of all mankind, in the last days. Then, who does the Bible say is the Root of David?

Revelation 22:16  “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

Jesus Himself testifies that He is the Root of David. However, since Revelation 5 shows that the Bible is sealed after Jesus had already preached the truth of salvation, the Root of David who comes to unseal it in the last age, must be the Second Coming Jesus. The words that Jesus taught for the salvation of the world 2,000 years ago were prophesied to be sealed for a period of time but are to be opened once again by the Root of David, the Second Coming Jesus.

The Sign of the Root of David is the Passover of the New Covenant

Many churches read the Bible and try to interpret it in their own way since they do not know who the Root of David is. Though we may have searched for the true interpretation of the Bible in many places, the Bible is telling us to find the church that the Root of David established so we can learn the teachings of salvation and the way to heaven from Him. If we go to church, yet do not know the Root of David, we can never be in the true church that knows the way to heaven. Then, how can we recognize the true Second Coming Christ, the Root of David who comes in human form in the last days? Let’s learn what the Bible says is the sign given only to David. Isaiah wrote:

Isaiah 55:3 “Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.”

According to the words written in Isaiah, the way our souls can live is by seeking David who has the everlasting covenant. The everlasting covenant is the sign promised only to David. If you meet the One who has the everlasting covenant, you can be sure you have met the Root of David whom the Bible testifies about. Then, what is the everlasting covenant established by Jesus, the Root of David?

Hebrews 13:20 “Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep…”

The everlasting covenant was established with the blood of Jesus.

Matthew 26:17-19, 26-28 “On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” “…I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

While they were eating the Passover, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”  Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

The Passover is the only teaching of Jesus that was made with His precious blood throughout His entire ministry on earth and it was only the Passover that Jesus established as the New Covenant (Luke 22:20). Therefore, the Passover is the everlasting covenant promised only to David and the sign in which we can confidently recognize God when He comes in human form to unseal the Bible and bring us the truth of salvation.

Only the Root of David, who brings the Passover, can Interpret the Bible Correctly

There are many denominations of Christianity, yet none were established by the Root of David who brought the everlasting covenant Passover. The Passover of the New Covenant which Jesus already established 2,000 years ago was abolished at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325. Since that time, there have been thousands of churches established over the centuries, but not one of them has the sign of David – the Passover of the New Covenant. This is simply because according to Revelation 5, “no one in heaven, on earth, or under the earth” will be able to unseal what has been sealed in the Bible except for the Root of David. It is prophesied that only David will bring the everlasting covenant through which our souls can live and have eternal life. The One who brings this covenant, is the Root of David, who will unseal the Bible for the salvation of everyone who receives Him.

It is only Christ Ahnsahnghong that has come to teach us the everlasting covenant of the Passover in these last days. Therefore, Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Root of David who has revealed all the mysteries of the Bible that had been sealed until now. Those who are taught by Him in the church He established are the ones who have learned the correct interpretation of the Bible and have confidence in the truth that leads to salvation. The World Mission Society Church of God is the true church established by the Root of David, Second Coming Christ and is the church we must attend to learn all the truth we must follow for the salvation of our souls.

Many Bible scholars, pastors of churches and theologians spend much of their time interpreting all the Scriptures with their own knowledge. The Bible is a book read and taught by many people for thousands of years and many churches, each with different doctrines, have been claiming to have the truth of salvation. However, no matter how famous one may be or how many members a church may have, if they are not established by the Root of David, we should never think their interpretations can be correct. Rather, their interpretations are nothing but distortions of the Bible and only lead people to a miserable end. The Bible clearly warns us about this fact as follows.

2 Peter 3:16-17 “He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.”

Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming Christ the world had been waiting for. Through Him, we can finally know the true way of eternal life, follow it, and enter heaven in the end. The World Mission Society Church of God is the true church where God Almighty dwells and grants salvation to all who enter. When we come to this church, we will know all the mysteries of the Bible, have true hope for heaven and joyfully walk with God all the days of our life.
